Due to COVID, PKF Board Member Martha Ketema finally was able to travel back to Nakfa, Eritrea in February 2023.The over 500 students and administrators at Felek Elementary School were able to receive the much-needed school supplies and financial scholarships.

Parents and Administrators graciously welcomed Martha and Zereghabir Ketema and were happy to see that COVID was not able to hinder the final contribution year. Due to COVID, PKF was unable to host a Gala for the past few years. However, thankfully due to the very generous contributors of PKF- there were still funds available to adequately finance the 2023 Giving Day as well as create signage proudly displaying Felek Elementary's name. A very special as well to the members and organizations that still contributed to PKF's mission throughout the pandemic. It was a joyous and celebratory 2023 Giving Day.
