In November of 2019 PKF traveled to Nakfa, Eritrea and was able to provide over 500 students and administrators at Felek Elementary School with school supplies and financial scholarships to assist them in furthering their education.  Once PKF Board Member Martha Ketema and Petros' father Zereghabir Ketema made it to Asmara, Eritrea, they traveled another two days to the Eritrean historical city of Nakfa . PKF was welcomed with open arms by the administrators and staff at Felek Elementary School.

PKF was formally introduced to all members of Felek Elementary.The educational material provided to the top ten students of each grade level and the financial contribution of $3,750 Nakfa for each scholarship recipient created the anticipation and motivation for students and staff alike for PKF to return the upcoming year.

 

Thanks to the commitment and the strong supporters of PKF- the 2019 PKF Giving Day was another successful event.
